So he says it may have something to do (here's where I get fuzzy) with some sort of control circuit board under the dash because for some reason the car is not sending a signal to turn on the compressor.

WEBAug 12, 2012 · A working A/C system at full charge should see ~55*F at the vent when set to maximum cool (set temp all the way down and max out the fan speed). If it can't hit this, something is clearly wrong. I'm not sure there's an easy way to check on the oil.
