WEBDec 31, 2015 · Apparently, Xbox 1 doesn't really like Xbox 360 PPPPP. Just kidding. I don't have Kinect for Xbox 360, but I got the Xbox 1 Day 1 edition console with Kinect. Xbox 1's Kinect has a higher resolution and can read QR codes and has better voice recepters and I think it's slimmer too. To video chat on Xbox 1 console, you need Kinect and the Skype app.

Xbox 360 Kinect has flashing green light when plugged into PC
WEBI am planning to use my Xbox 360 Kinect as a webcam on my PC and it has this flashing green light every time I plug it in. To be sure that it's not broken, I plugged it in to my Xbox 360 Slim and it worked. I have currently tried installing both Kinect SDK versions 1.0 beta 2 and 1.8 with no luck.
