This was magical! I have never seen so many hot air balloons in my life. There are so many festivities before the actual event. If you are in Albuquerque in late October you should definitely attend. Full review by sonic619
The balloons will not go up in bad weather, wind, or rain. They have cancelled 2 days so far during this 2022 fiesta but the weather looks like it’s improving for the rest of the event. Enjoy!
Hoping to bring a group of special needs travelers. Getting to the festival at the crack of dawn isn't really an option, even 7am is too early for some. If we get to the festival grounds at 10am, will the balloons still be in the air? Would it be better to get tickets for the evening session?
