Anne Arundel County’s Department of Transportation is making strides with its transportation initiatives, having recently secured significant funding to launch a passenger ferry system across the Chesapeake Bay.

The federal grant funding will be used to buy two electric passenger ferries expected to service Baltimore, Annapolis and Kent Island.
