Memphis basketball faces North Carolina and the women take on South Carolina in exhibitions Tuesday at FedExForum

Tuesday’s exhibition is part of the inaugural Hoops for St. Jude Tip Off Classic. USC-Memphis is the second game of a double-header also featuring Memphis-North Carolina men’s basketball in an effort to raise money for the children’s research hospital.

For the first time since a Sweet 16 loss to Auburn on March 29, 2019, UNC basketball will play a game without Armando Bacot on its roster when the preseason No. 9 Tar Heels visit unranked Memphis for an exhibition bout at 7 p.m. ET Tuesday (ESPNU).

The South Carolina women's basketball team will unofficially begin its title defense when it takes on Memphis as part of the Hoops for St. Jude Tip Off Classic. This exhibition contest between the Gamecocks and Tigers is part of a doubleheader with the Memphis and North Carolina men's basketball teams.

The official start of the UNC basketball season begins today with the team's first exhibition game. On Saturday, it held the annual blue/white scrimmage which was the first time outside of practice that the team faced game-like action.
