OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - Two investigations have revealed new details after two planes crashed on the same day, killing both pilots. In both cases, the pilots were flying at a time of extreme differences in weather with a clear sky and very low visibility in close proximity.

The plane was found at 9:30 a.m. in a field near Crofton. First responders said the conditions were foggy and visibility was 50 feet. There was debris found 600 feet from the field. The report provided a picture of a wind turbine near the crash scene illustrating visibility conditions.
