Ottawa Senators Sign 38-Year-Old Former Toronto Maple Leafs Winger to a PTO
The Sens signed former Toronto Maple Leafs left winger Nikolay Kulemin, who obviously got the NHL itch again at age 38 after six seasons in the KHL. The Sens also brought in 24-year-old right-shot defenceman Calen Addison, who played 72 games last season, split between the Minnesota Wild and San Jose Sharks.

The Ottawa Senators have signed defenceman Calen Addison and forward Nikolay Kulemin to professional tryouts. The Ottawa Senators announced today that the team has signed two players to professional tryouts. The team signed defenceman Calen Addison and forward Nikolay Kulemin each to a PTO for the team’s upcoming 2024 training camp.

At his height in the NHL, Kulemin had 30 goals and 57 points in 82 contests with the Maple Leafs in 2010-11, but at the age of 38, he's unlikely to serve in more than a bottom-six role if he makes the Senators' roster at all.
Former Wild Defenseman Signs PTO With Ottawa Senators
The Ottawa Senators announced Thursday they have signed defenseman Calen Addison and forward Nikolay Kulemin to Professional Tryouts (PTO). Addison, 24, played 92 games with the Wild in his time in Minnesota. He was acquired from the Pittsburgh Penguins in a deal that sent Jason Zucker the other way.
