“Songs of a Lost World” is the first record from the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductees since 2008’s “4:13 Dream.“ The latest project is The Cure’s 14th studio album. The Cure started teasing the project back in September by sending cryptic postcards to fans on their mailing list, Stereogum reported.

Nov. 1 (UPI) -- The Cure released Songs of a Lost World, their first new album in nearly two decades, on Friday. "It sequences in such a way that I think that it kind of takes you somewhere ," said lead singer and guitarist Robert Smith. "You end up somewhere different than where you started out and hopefully people will react to it."
