Is it time to upgrade your Apple Watch? If you’ve been eyeing the Apple Watch Series 10, your wait is over — well, almost. The newest iteration of Apple’s smart watch drops tomorrow, which means you have limited time left to preorder one.

As of Sept. 19, you can get a renewed premium original Apple Watch Ultra for just $449. That's $110 off its normal price of $559 and a discount of 20%. This renewed item has been inspected, tested, and refurbished according to Amazon's standards, and you can return it as you normally would in the event there are any issues with functionality.

The embiggening of the Apple Watch is nothing new. The original Apple Watch measured 38mm and 42mm. The Series 4 bumped that up to 40mm and 44mm. The Series 7 made it 41mm and 45mm. Today, the Series 10 measures 42mm and 46mm. Normally, I rail against the trend toward larger watches, but the Series 10’s display is worth every millimeter.

The Apple Watch Ultra 2 was originally launched last year with a faster processor, a much brighter display and new double tap gesture - which lets you interact with the screen without physically touching it - some of the headline additions.

Note: We first saw the Apple Watch Ultra 2 hit its lowest price ever on Amazon on September 13, 2024. Shortly after, it went back to full price—but as of September 18, 2024, it is back down to $689, its lowest price ever.

You don’t need the black Apple Watch Ultra 2. There’s nothing truly new here. This is the same as the regular Ultra 2. The only difference is that this is black. That’s it. It bears reminding: the Ultra 2 is $800.
