Laiatu Latu, the Indianapolis Colts' promising rookie defensive end and a former standout at UCLA, is currently dealing with a hip injury sustained during the Colts' 16-10 loss to the Green Bay Packers in Week 2.

Rookie defensive end Laiatu Latu is considered day-to-day with his hip injury suffered on Sunday in Green Bay, according to NFL Media’s Ian Rapoport. Latu had to exit the game with the injury in the second half.

Before the Colts took the practice field on Wednesday in preparation of their Week 3 matchup with the Chicago Bears, head coach Shane Steichen mentioned that rookie defensive end Laiatu Latu would not practice today. As had been reported by NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, Steichen would add that they are taking things day-to-day with Latu.
