Two teenagers accused of operating and crashing an empty subway in Queens were arrested Wednesday, according to the NYPD. The 17-year-old male and female were charged with criminal mischief and reckless endangerment after last week’s joyride,

Police arrested a 17-year-old girl on Wednesday for allegedly breaking into an empty subway train in Queens, grabbing the controls and crashing it into another train. Officials said the brief underground joyride took place around midnight last Thursday at the Briarwood station.

Two 17-year-olds were arrested and charged with two counts of criminal mischief in the first degree, and reckless endangerment in the first degree.
