Arkansas will receive over $30 million after reaching a settlement with Kroger over its role in the opioid crisis.

Arkansas will receive up to $13.5 million as its share of a $1.37 billion settlement between 30 states and Kroger over its role in the opioid crisis, Attorney General Tim Griffin announced Monday.

Arkansas, alongside 29 other states, has reached a $1.3 billion settlement with Kroger for the store's "role in the opioid crisis."
