Rainbow Brite turns 40 this year, and to celebrate, Crayola Studios and Hallmark have announced that they’re reviving the iconic '80s character for a new television series and feature film that will be produced by the same team who had a hand in the Sonic the Hedgehog and the Fast & Furious franchises.

Rainbow Brite is getting a remix from Crayola Studios and Hallmark, which are teaming to develop a new TV series and feature film inspired by the 1980s children’s franchise. The theatrical movie is in the works from “Fast & Furious” and “Sonic the Hedgehog” producers Neal H.
