The A Quiet Place haunted house at this year's Halloween Horror Nights event has been two years in the making. Not only that, but the seasonal experience at Universal Studios Hollywood also boasts several groundbreaking firsts for the iconic and award-winning seasonal scarefest.

If you were in the Orlando area recently and found everything just a little bit creepier, there's a reason for that. Halloween Horror Nights is back for 2024. The annual event is the crown jewel of the Universal Orlando Resort year. Many fans look forward to it, and this year there are 10 all-new houses for those fans to experience.

No matter the location, there are some things guests expect from Universal Studios Halloween Horror Nights, but there are differences across coasts.

There are four free dance nights at Marina del Rey's Burton Chace Park, with the first one, devoted to Salsa, twirling on Sept. 6. The Waterbus is running later, too, on each Friday in September, sweet.
