UTEP had just a 1-yard field goal drive in the first half before changing quarterbacks. The defense hung in, but Colorado State got its final touchdown on a 7-yard touchdown drive following a blocked punt early in the third quarter, then got the 28-yard field-goal drive to clinch the game after the Miners went for it.
