Buoyed by all this Bitcoin buying, MicroStrategy has skyrocketed in value. The company's stock is up more than 100% this year, compared to 40% for Bitcoin and less than 20% for the S&P 500. Obviously, MicroStrategy's all-in Bitcoin strategy has paid off so far. But is this something individual investors should be emulating?

MicroStrategy to offer $700 million convertible notes to buy more Bitcoin, MSTR stock price drops nearly 5%.

MicroStrategy will raise $700 million in convertible senior notes to pay off $500 million of debt and bolster its Bitcoin hoard.

The firms holdings have risen to 244,8000 bitcoins worth about $14 billion at current prices. Formerly a business software firm but now calling itself a bitcoin development company, MicroStrategy (MSTR) has added 18,300 bitcoins (BTC) to its multibillion-dollar holdings.
