Police in New Haven are investigating a shooting that happened on Goodyear Street Sunday night. Police alerted the public to the shooting at 7:12 p.m. and they are currently still on scene. At least one person was injured in the shooting.

NEW HAVEN — A person was shot on Goodyear Street Sunday evening, officials said. In a post on X at 7:12 p.m., the New Haven Police Department said officers were on scene with a shooting victim on Goodyear Street. Officials did not provide any other information.

Police are investigating after a man was shot in New Haven on Tuesday night. Officers learned that a 25-year-old man arrived at Yale New Haven Hospital just before 10:20 p.m. and sought treatment for a gunshot wound, according to the New Haven Police Department.
