MSCS schools dismiss students after online threats prompt lockdowns, sheriff's office says
Shelby County Schools were placed on a "soft lockdown" Wednesday after online threats, the Memphis Police Department and MSCS confirmed. MPD Public Information Officer Christopher Williams said in an email law enforcement and the school district were investigating and that no injuries had been reported as of noon.
