Irish actor Barry Keoghan has hit back at “disgusting” online trolls who comment on his parenting, saying they “sicken” him and make him “furious.”

Bird star Barry Keoghan has responded to criticism about his personal life. The BAFTA Film Award-winning Banshees of Inisherin and Saltburn actor has often refrained from discussing his life away from the screen, though there remains lots of media interest in his relationship with singer Sabrina Carpenter.

Barry has reflected on the onslaught of negativity he’s faced on social media in recent months — and said the unfounded claims that he is an “absent father” make him “furious.”

The Irish star told Louis Theroux on 'The Louis Theroux Podcast': "I'm not an absent father. But people love to use my son as ammunition."
