Michael Harris II hit two of Atlanta’s four home runs and the Braves had 15 hits in a 12-0 rout of the Washington Nationals, despite losing starter Reynaldo López to a right shoulder injury after one inning.

The Braves fell two games back of the New York Mets for the third National League wild card. Harris hit a leadoff drive in the first against Brandon Williamson. Marcell Ozuna reached on a one-out single before Olson made it 3-0 with his 26th home run.

Matt Olson and Michael Harris II both put the cherry on top of what was a fantastic series for both of them at Great American Ball Park, as their home run barrage today was part of a huge day at the plate for the Atlanta Braves.
