New Delhi, Nov 2 (PTI) In a scathing attack on Narendra Modi, Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi Vadra on Saturday said the prime minister has "destroyed" the dignity of the highest post of the country by repeatedly making "hollow promises" to 140 crore Indians.

“The Congress Party is realising the hard way that making unreal promises is easy but implementing them properly is tough or impossible. Campaign after campaign they promise things to the people, which they also know they will never be able to deliver. Now, they stand badly exposed in front of the people!” the Prime Minister posted on X.

The BJP has criticised the Congress for failing to keep promises and praised Prime Minister Modi's leadership. BJP spokesperson Sudhanshu Trivedi highlighted successful welfare schemes and infrastructure projects under the Modi government.
